Even though Grand Canyon University's growth has exploded the last few years, once you get to know someone through mutual friends, you become family. I might not see Mary Kate very often because of schedules and programs, but when I see her she always makes my day better with a huge smile and hug. I am grateful to have met her two whole years ago when we were just little fish in a big pond. Now we're bigger fish in an even bigger lake...or something like that, you know what I mean.
She is caring, intelligent, and absolutely photogenic. My camera, the lighting, and Papago Park fell in love with her instantly!!
This girl was willing to do anything for a sweet shot. Not only did she handle the reflector's glare all day, but she hopped up on walls, crouched, and even went fishing (as you will soon see!)
Mary Kate, it was an absolute treat to get to spend time with you in the desert heat and snap these fun pics. You are going to change the world wherever you go because you have such a sweet spirit in you. And if the whole healthcare admin thing doesn't work out... you can always just become a model! ;)
