Hintze Wedding

You know that couple that has been together FOREVER? The one that everyone knows they are going to get married because they are just designed for each other? That one couple that everyone shakes their head and asks "how did you do it?!" the distance...the purity... the long engagement... A couple that endures all of that tends to have a wedding with an extra splash of blessing pour over it. Cade and Kristen are that couple, and here is their day... finally. ;)

The Guys.

The Gals.

Kristen's dress is one of a kind because her mom made it! They pieced together multiple designs  so she got a custom dress that was tailored especially for her.

The First Look.

This is the best view in the house during the first look. I had to remind Cade to keep facing me and not peek as Kristen made the trek across the bridge to see her groom. The anticipation on both of their faces was priceless.

While the first look is meant to be intimate and private for the bride and groom, the bridal party almost always finds a way to peek in from afar and this time I got them in action.

The Bridal Party! (Emphasis on PARTY)

This group seriously had so much fun together and they were on board with any off the wall idea I asked for us to try!

I believe that it's not a true Forward Motion Photography session without a rule being broken or some dangerous act occuring. This time its was my turn to hop into a crane and go up fifty feet in the air to get a different angle on this attractive bridal party.

The Ceremony.

Cade and Kristen wanted their ceremony to be glorifying to the Lord through demonstrating the importance of worship, scripture reading, and feet washing.

The Reception.

Their non-traditional style of having guests sit at tables for the ceremony made it extremely easy for conversation to flow, games to be played, and the reception to get underway while the bridal party snuck away for some last minute photos.

What's on the menu? BBQ, potato salad, baked beans, and homemade mango salsa.

Details included a Bible for guests to sign and highlight verses in, a photo booth, and plenty of games including a camp favorite, carpet ball.

Cade's mom Lara did an INCREDIBLE job making gluten free cupcakes for guests to enjoy. My personal favorite was the double chocolate, but I think the almond raspberry was the crowd favorite.

If the past indicates anything of the future, Cade and Kristen are going to have quite the adventure of a life! After their honeymoon they packed their bags and moved down to the Phoenix heat for Cade to finish school and Kristen to work at a campus ministry for ASU. While I know their Colorado family loves and misses them, I can't say I mind bumping into them at church and seeing their smiling faces in my neck of the desert. May God bless their love, service, and joyful marriage.
